Today (27/06) at FOSS4G we had very interesting talks, and one is the one from HOT-OSM, where they are working on extending the capabilities of the OSM tools through segmentation aided by machine learning models.
I would like to explore this, and share with the community.
I am putting this as a note for further future. We can set the date accordingly (post-OSCAL). Relevant links:
